The Constitution and Bill of Rights

The United State of America has a Constitution and a Bill of Rights.  These documents written by the founders of our country give us the foundation for our country.   Before becoming a member of Congress, Justice of the Supreme Court, Vice President,  President and others take an oath to uphold these documents.  Are these documents read and do they understand what and why they are taking the oath?  I have to wonder because they don’t seem to pay heed to the words.  They go about their merry way doing or   saying what ever they please.  They write and pass bills without having any constitutional rights to do so.   Is this document meaningless to them?

The first amendment gives us the freedom of speech, but when we use this right we are called names.  We cannot stand up for our freedom because then we are a mob that has been organized by others.  We cannot shout because then we are unruly.  What are we supposed to do?  I for one will not stand still for this kind of tyranny.  We shout because they will not listen.  We shout because we need to be heard.  We shout because we care about our country and our rights. 

The tenth amendment gives rights to the states that are not specified to the federal government.   The federal government is taking away the states rights by blackmailing them.   Funds given to the states have stipulations attached.  Spend the money our way or you don’t get them.  We must stand up for our states rights.  We vote for a governor, and representatives for a reason.  If we wanted the federal government to run everything why   have individual states? 

Please read the Constitution and Bill of Rights so you know how far the federal government is overstepping their bounds.  This is important to all Americans.  This is still our country, but if we don’t fight we will lose it.  Don’t keep your head in the sand.  Listen, read and learn what is happening around you.
