Reading Bills Before Passing

It is very important for all of us to make sure that Congress reads any bills they are trying to pass before voting or passing them.  They are signing contracts for us, American citizens, that are binding.  Do you sign a contract before you read it or know what it contains?   It is vital that we know all about these bills before they are passed.  So many things have already popped up about the Health Care Bill that was being withheld from us.  The fact that the bill is on a fast track to be passed quickly usually means that the government is trying to hide something.

Did you know that after the age of 65 all seniors will be visited every five years to discuss options of dying?  Do want someone coming to your house and talking about your options of weather to live or die?  I am 63 and I assure you that I don’t want anyone in my house telling me how to live or die.  That is up to me and my family not the government.  This is in the House Bill pages 425-430.

During the last six months our President has lied to us several times and spent more money then we can possibly repay in decades.  The only thing we have seen for all of this excess spending is more government programs and more Czars being paid for by us.  The unemployment rate is worse, the deficit of our country is worse, our standing in the world has declined, and people in general are poorer.  This is definitely a change, but not what I feel is good for our country.
