What is with this Congress? Why do we need to pass a health bill by the August recess? Could the answer be that they don’t want the citizens of this country to know what is really in the bill? Could it be that they are scared that the nation will realize that they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes? These are all important questions to you and your family. This bill will not give you good health care. The people without any health care do not have it because they don’t feel they need it or because they have not applied to Medicaid or Medicare. Both of these government programs as well as state run health programs help those without medical insurance. All of the government programs are broke because the government does not know how to run a business. In the last 40 years there has been nothing that the government has run and run correctly.
Taxing the people who make the most money will not reduce your health care costs. It will not give you health care either. If businesses are made to pay large amounts for health care they will move their businesses to other countries where they don’t have to pay taxes. It is only good business policy to have a profitable company. If they can’t get a return on their investment than go where they can.
Do a search on today’s Washington Post for a flow chart of the democratic bill by Ezra Klein. It will make your head swim. We do need health care reform, but not to the detriment of making a living. If manufacturing disappears then so do the jobs. Without jobs no one will be able to pay for health care and there won’t be any.
Now is the time for you to act before this terrible bill of 1018 pages is passed.
