Dick Morris

Dick Morris was born in 1948.    He graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York City in 1964.  While in school he managed campaigns for other students.  He attended Columbia University and graduated in 1967. 

Morris worked for the Clintons in his campaign for governor of Arkansas in 1978.    He again worked with the Clintons in 1994 through 1996 during the mid-term elections.  He proposed the strategy of triangulation.  This means distancing yourself from the Democrats, the Republicans and turning toward the people.

He stated writing books in 2004 with his wife as co-author.  His first book was published in 2004 and was considered a rebuttal to the book written by Hillary Clinton called Living History.  Morris’s book was called Rewriting History.   He has since written several books the latest being Outrage, Fleeced and now Catastrophe.  Most of his books have been best sellers and were on the New York Best Sellers List for many weeks.

Morris has become a political consultant for Fox News appearing on Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Sustren many times.  He is also a consultant for candidates in other countries.  At times he tries to be a political prognosticator but that has not worked out very well.

He is also the writer of a weekly column in the New York Post that is carried nationwide and is sent to on-line readers free of charge.  He plays an active role in Vote.com and works with Citizens United.org.  Both of these organizations are politically oriented.
