Saving money is something most Baby Boomers have in common. Those of us that were born between 1945 and 1955 had parents and grandparents who were still working to get themselves in good financial positions. We were told to save for what we wanted because money did not grow on trees. Sure, they wanted us to have more than they did, but getting everything we wanted was against their values. Saving and working hard were their values and what they wanted to instill in their children.
