A Review of "Outrage" by Dick Morris

Dick Morris is a political commentator and author who once worked as an adviser to the Clinton administration and has written a number of books that criticize the Clinton's since being fired from the Clinton re-election campaign. His latest book, “Outrage,” purports to expose corruption from the highest levels of our government to the private business sector. The full title of the book is "Outrage: How Illegal Immigration, the United Nations, Congressional Ripoffs, Student Loan Overcharges, Tobacco Companies, Trade Protection, and Drug Companies Are Ripping Us Off . . . and What to Do About It." The book hit the top of the bestseller list within one day of its release. It was number 1 in the political section at Amazon.com, number 2 among all non-fiction works, and number 4 overall for Amazon.com.

"Outrage" addresses a number of social and political concerns that would be appalling to the average American if they were covered by the mainstream media. Morris, along with his wife and co-author Eileen McGann, expose the abuses and corruption from the mishandling of the illegal immigration situation to teachers unions, the ACLU, insurance companies, special interests and more. They list facts as they see them, and tell the reader what can be done to fight special interest groups from both left and right political genres.

The book exposes the names of politicians involved in nepotism and other illegal or unethical schemes. Morris and McGann attempted to write from a bi-partisan point of view, attacking both the left and right for egregious dealings. The authors clearly are passionate about the government and how it is failing the American people.
