Romance books are all about love and sex. They almost always end up with the two lovers together. This is one of the reasons they are so popular; they are almost like real life stories. They almost always have a happy ending and never leave you guessing what happened, unless it is a series of romance books that is one continuous story like the soap operas.

Some of the books have murder in them because of jealousy or an abuser who thinks that is the way to show someone you love them. So, you can see that they are not entirely all about love and happiness. Some of them have mysteries that need to be solved. Others have you traveling all over the world looking for a lost love. For instance, Danielle Steels books have you all over the world, but for the most part, they always turn out with a happy ending.

Crystal Jordan and Elizabeth Hoyt are just a few authors of romance novels that have some new ones out. Nora Roberts has been around for quite some time and has had her share of romance stories published. The demand for romance books is rising and it looks as if it is going to continue. It just goes to show you that although divorce is at an all time high, romance is still in the thoughts of a lot of people. Don't think that only women buy these romance novels either, because there are quite a few men who are avid romance readers.
