Romance And Mystery Together In Books

Books have always allowed the reader to temporarily escape the situations of everyday life. Romance and mystery in books together can create excitement and passion while sitting and reading comfortably in your favorite chair. Romance and mystery can keep the reader interested, knowing that the good will prevail over the bad by the end of the story. This is unlike real life when bad stories seem to dominate the newspapers and television. The audio book has allowed the reader to sit back and listen to the story as it is being told by a narrator.

Audio books have become very popular in romance and mystery books. The reader can close their eyes and imagine what is happening. They can get a mental picture as they follow along. The sound of another voice can add to the romance and mystery of the story. Audio books have taken story telling back into adult lives once again. Some people prefer reading books and allowing their imagination to picture what is being described as they read at their own pace.

Romance and mystery together can be fun, especially if the reader has a favorite author or series of books. Some of the authors go heavy on the romance while mixing mystery in between. Other authors keep mystery as the storyline with romance moving slowly into the plot between the main characters. Examples of these books can be found in the Harlequin Intrigue Book Club, Rhapsody Romance Book Club and Public Bookshelf, which is a free online library.

Great examples of well-written romance and mystery books include "Thief of Hearts" by Victoria Taylor Murray, "Hard Eight" by Janet Evanovich and "The Summons" by John Grisham. No matter the style of the author, when romance and mystery is in the story, it keeps the reader's attention.
