What does losing our sovereignty to the United Nations mean to the average American with children? First, the constitution of the United States gives a treaty exclusive power and supersedes any federal or state law. This treaty call the" UN Convention on the Rights of the Child" would remove parental rights over your minor child. According to the parental rights website the CRC states the following:
No reasonable spankings your child, No person under the age of 18 committing a murder can be sentenced to a life, Children can chose their own religion and parents can only advise them about religion the government has the ability to override any decision made by the parent, A child can ask for government review of any parental decision and the decision can be dismissed, It is illegal for the US to spend more on national defense then it does on child welfare, A child would have a legally enforceable right to leisure, No teaching of Christianity in any schools, Parents cannot opt their children out of sex education and children have the right to information and services about abortions without parental consent.
I don’t have any children, but the idea that our government is even thinking of signing this treaty makes me very angry. Please read all the information you can on this subject and if you feel as angry as I am, then write to government and let them know how you feel.
