Rosemary Rogers

Rosemary Rogers was born in 1932 in Ceylon, (now Sri Lanka) as Rosemary Janz.  She started writing at the age of eight.  She became a reporter in Ceylon while attending the University.  She married and had two daughters, but divorced in 1960 and moved to London.  She met her second husband and moved to St Louis and then to California where she had two sons.  In 1968 she divorced again and was left to support her four children.    She worked for the Solano County Park’s Department as a secretary.  During lunch and after the kids were in bed she would work on her first novel.  In 1974 after twenty three revisions she submitted her transcript for publication to Avon.   It was published immediately and she was on her way

Today she is considered one of the best modern historical romance writers.  Her first book was Sweet Savage Love and introduced the characters Steve Morgan and Ginny Brandon.  The book was a great success and she continued the characters in five additional novels.  She has written sixteen novels and sold millions of copies world wide.

Her novels are violent in a sexual manner and her characters travel to exotic locations.  She now lives in Connecticut.

If you want to read a wonderful steamy adventurous love story then this author is for you.  I have loved every one of her books and recommend them without reserve.   Let me warn you, however, that once you start one of her books you don’t want to put it down.
