If you see the name Janet Dailey and it gives you pause because you know you've seen it before but you don't know where, think about the book aisle in your local store and it might come to you. Janet Dailey's books are available at every bookstore and online retailer you could possibly imagine.

Janet Dailey writes fantasy romance novels. She has written more than 80 and is the best selling female writer in the United States. She is known for two primary book series. When she was with book publisher Harlequin, she wrote romance stories which took place in every state of the union. Each state has at least one book which takes place in it, with some states having more than one book. These books later became known as the “Americana” series, which was published by Harlequin and later by Silhouette (which her and her husband helped create with Harlequin.) The second series that she has received critical acclaim for is the “Calder” Series. This series takes place at the Triple C Ranch and is centered completely on the large Calder clan. Each one of the books is a story line with a different primary character involved but they are all part of the Calder family.

Janet Dailey has millions of books in print already and she is published in more than two dozen countries. She has four more books ready to be published, two of which are the continuation of the adventures of the Calder clan.
