Retirement age for some of us is getting very close. For others it seems that working will be forever. This article gave some interesting statistics concerning retirement age. It would seem that the longer we live the lower the retirement age becomes. This doesn’t make a lot of sense, but looking back in history the facts are correct.
Many people reaching 65 can not afford to retire. They continue to work into their 70’s. Reasons for this are many but include health care costs, not saving for retirement or enjoying your work or profession too much to retire.
