Political consultant, commentator, author, and adviser to former President Clinton, Dick Morris, along with some help from Eileen McGann, has written another controversial book titled "Outrage." The non-fiction book has been named appropriately, since when you read it you become outraged by the actions of the United States government. The book touches on everything from illegal immigration, drug companies, the U.S. Congress, the United Nations, trade protection, and many other topics. The book was released in 2007 and it joins the ranks of the other Dick Morris bestsellers.
The book talks about issues of which many of us are very much unaware, such as the fact that half of the United States’ illegal immigrants entered the country legally. He also talks about the corruption that takes place within the United Nations, the unprofessional practices within teacher's unions, how special interest groups are costing consumers billions of dollars. The book also touched on how the ACLU stifles the views of its directors, the unethical acts within Congress, payoffs from drug companies, and insurance companies’ unfair practices involving victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Not only does "Outrage" point out the issues that are at hand, it gives explanations of how to deal with these issues. "Outrage" is a no-nonsense, to-the-core display of what, in many cases, are cover-ups. No doubt, the organizations and guilty parties that are being discussed in "Outrage" are running scared since this book uncovers some shocking information.
Please be aware, however, that many say it’s nearly impossible to read "Outrage" without getting angry. The passion that Morris feels regarding these issues shines through in this book, and it will generate a genuine desire to defeat corruption, beat the system, and stand up for what’s true and just.
